Hi, I’m Mary.

I’m the MAD (Mary A. Devore) behind MADSkills. I graduated from Huntington University in 2020 (yes, that 2020) with a degree in film production and a minor in screenwriting. What I love to do is tell stories. I started working with small businesses in college, where I managed an on-campus production company for a few semesters. It wouldn’t occur to me until several years later to start my own small business. When I left college, in the throes of the pandemic, I started working with business owners in my immediate family, building websites and creating social media content to help them survive a daunting challenge. During that time, I was able to reinforce the skills I had developed in college and discovered that I still had a passion for working with small businesses and telling their stories.
